About Yan
The Obvious Facts
Yan is Julie Ann to her parents, Yannie to her friends, YanYan to others, Yan to those who are too lazy to utter an extra syllable, and Julie to those who don’t know any better.
She is the odd one out in a clan of self-obsessed eccentrics, lifetime slave of the light trickery god, and soon-to-be doting mother to an energetic infant whose existence is currently punctuated by power kicks in the womb a beautiful baby boy.
The Token Professional Overview
Yan is a web developer, graphic designer, writer, and entrepreneur.
She started her career as a proposal management expert for a local satellite office of a Seattle-based firm. An active member of the APMP and a pioneer in her field, she successfully developed winning proposals for various government and private organizations across the USA. In a matter of months, she was rapidly promoted from the trenches of proposal development to middle management, and later to still higher echelons. In less than a year, shortly after her 21st birthday, she became the General Manager of the small firm.
The firm later transitioned from proposal management to web development, and thus began her enduring love affair with web usability standards.
When she finally stepped out of her corporate shell and into the fearsome world of self-employment, she experienced an infinity of alternating brief spurts and prolonged momentums that soon set the tone for the rest of her career.
Today, Yan is the creative mind behind Evergreen Management Group, a Colorado-based web marketing firm. Together with long-term partner and recently acquired husband Bigmakoy, she works from a tiny incinerator in the beautiful island of Cebu in central Philippines.

These days, the verses are reduced to hushed whispers, and she contents herself with long-winded inanities like uhm, this one.
